Plumber

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

– Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances

– Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues

– Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics

– Use hand tools and power tools to repair and maintain plumbing equipment

– Work with plumbing materials, such as copper, PVC, and PEX

– Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex issues

– Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

– 2-5 years of experience as a Plumber Technician

– Certification in plumbing technology or a related field (e.g. Journeyman Plumber)

– Strong understanding of plumbing codes and standards (e.g. UPC)

– Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

– Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment

– High school diploma or equivalent

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

– Experience with commercial and industrial plumbing systems

– Knowledge of medical gas systems and backflow prevention

– Certification in plumbing safety protocols

– Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
